Featuring a downtown vibe, uptown, Da Capo is an artisanal espresso bar by day and a cocktail bar and restaurant by night.

Most of the city’s serious cocktail scene lives below 14th Street, but Da Capo is a hidden gem on the Upper West Side. A proper cocktail spot with a changing, seasonal menu that seems to always fit the weather.

At the main bar, Da Capo features an extensive spirits list, curated cocktails, a crafted food menu, and a rotating art collection from New York City artists. Walk past the bar and peak behind the rich velvet curtains and you’ll find the Prima Lounge at Da Capo, a reimagined upscale lounge space featuring plush leather seating, dimmed lighting, and elevated cocktail, food and dessert pairings in an alluring setting. Prima Lounge at Da Capo begs the question, why go downtown when you can have the downtown experience on the Upper West Side.

“We set out to make Da Capo a unique place, one with a chic and sophisticated vibe that maintains a neighborhood balance. A place where patrons can socialize in a comfortable and relaxing environment, no matter what time of day they come in,” explains Craig Marx, owner of Da Capo. “We didn’t want to be a typical neighborhood establishment, we wanted to create something truly exceptional. So, we combined the highest standards of espresso, cocktails and dining, and as a result, Da Capo was born.”
